A Main Street Program
Collinsville's Main Street Program started in 2000 and is a part of the Oklahoma Main Street Program through the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Oklahoma's Main Street program helps return vitality to the heart of communities across the state while preserving our history and culture.
To be instrumental in directing the restoration of historical Collinsville to it's original nostalgic appearance, business fervor, public attration, and profitability to fit the needs of our contemporary community.
Using the Four-Point Approach to Economic Revitalization
Main Street is a volunteer-driven program relying on the commitment of private citizens and civic leaders. Our services include volunteer and fund development workshops, national resource team and technical visits, newsletter development and annual program assessments.
Well planned promotions with specific goals attract large crowds and reacquaint people with the benefits of Main Street as a center of commerce and social gatherings.
Facade improvements, merchandising techniques, window displays, signage, landscaping, and sidewalk & parking improvements all contribute to a positive physical appearance. We offer training, architectural services, referrals to contractors & design professionals, as well as preservation and restoration product lists.
Main Street provides training, business consulting, business planning, market deveopment, pro forma analysis training, market analysis guides and workshops on customer service, asset management and more.
